Arrow of Light {Peter}

Our youngest son, Peter, has achieved the highest rank in Cub Scouts: the Arrow of Light.
He worked diligently to complete it in 2010 to earn a special collectible BSA anniversary patch.
100% of his Webelos 2 den earned this prestigious award, which is quite a statement about the dedication to Scouting and the determination of these young men and their families.

Peter holds his decorative arrow, made by Tim and me, commemorating all of his Cub Scout achievements. Each knot, bead, claw, and tassel represents an award or rank Peter earned during his Cub Scout years.
On hand for the Arrow of Light celebration were two of Peter's biggest fans and Scouting supporters: Grandpa Cliff and Grandma Billie (holding Jonah's littlest brother, Samuel).

Peter presented me with an amazing thank you card and a pin to thank me (and Tim) for our years of support and encouragement.
Peter's name, and the names of his 8 den mates have been added to the pack's Arrow of Light commemorative plaque.  Grandpa Cliff built the award in 2004, and I customized it.
Joseph served on the color guard for the opening and closing flag ceremonies.
Zachary called the flag ceremonies.

What a great celebration honoring a fantastic group of boys.
Their final pack meeting, Blue and Gold, is in a few days.  At that meeting, Peter and the other wonderful Webelos will cross-over into Boy Scouts!
