The Joys of Camp

Peter's joy at camp is evident in his whole being...
Hanging out with friends (like Nolan)...
Camo arts & crafts...
Waterfront activities...
Providing for the family...
Taking aim...
Living the life of luxury... with the bugs!
Eating the amazing camp food (seen being served by our friend, Ezra and his boss, Patrick)...

Climbing around the bouldering wall...
It's ALL good!  We love Scout Camp!

Except, perhaps, the lack of sleep or the number of bug bites.

Flashback Friday

Joseph and Peter, 2006, at Fire Mountain Boy Scout Camp

Joseph in the craft lodge, '06.

Scout Camp is a huge part of our summer experience.
The season is upon us again, with Zac and Joseph packing for Idaho's Camp Easton.  Tim's the Scoutmaster for our troop at summer camp this year.  He's driving a great big van pulling a troop gear trailer.
Peter and I will attend a Webelos 3-nighter at Fire Mountain with other Webelos from his den.
The bugs and sometimes bad meals make these experiences all the more meaningful, don't they?
